Highly suspect is an upcoming austin, texas rock band. They are the in for the hot new act on the scene, and according to the media, everything is hot new on the scene these days. The band is, however, not their usual self-promoting *expletive*-Storm of a self-consciously clever lyricism. Instead, they take their time introduction and build the heat before pounding their way into the heady atmosphere of a salivating fan base. The set was very tight and well-executed. The set break was a nice touch as well. The fans were into it, and the show was well-made. I give Highly Suspect concert high marks and will be sure to see them at least twice this year.
